The Coast Guard USS Eagle is used for training cadets at the US Coast Guard Academy in New London, CT. The ship sails all over the world. The USS Eagle was captured from Germany and kept as a war prize. The ship was originally built for the German Navy during the 1930's and was used to train German sailors.
