Don't know the name of this ship- but it's a nice shot! The Goldstar bridge is in the background (Interstate 95- runs from Maine to the Florida Keys, East Coast Artery.) (facing north, up the Thames). State Pier. |

"Tallship" from Ukraine- a very ragtag group. On the way to the US, half of the crew jumped ship, they ran aground and also broke the main mast. They were selling flavored vodka to finance their trip back to the Ukraine. Fittingly they had 'no fear' sticker stuck to the side of the boat which was need of paint. Note, to everyone's surprise they returned to New London in August saying they had decided to winter in the US. |
